    Squiggly line help!?!

Hi dellis203 and welcome to PSG. I haven't got Photoshop on this laptop so I'm going to try to answer this from memory. A relatively easy way to get the borders and the scrolling at the bottom of the word "Last Rites" is to use the "Shapes" tool. For the border select the "Shapes" tool, you may...

    Actions?

Alistair, I'm just posting "on the fly" right now so I've not the time to go into detail untill saturday or Sunday night if it is needed. Here is a picture I made with actions using a simple shape to begin with. The shape was very much like the Nike logo, you know the shape that looks like a...

    Photos from my recent walkabout.

Thats what I like to do, go walkabout for a few weeks or months. I especially like to spend time in the wilderness, or as near to wilderness as I can get, hunting with my camera. I'm away for a week or so from tuesday so I thought I'd post up these photos before I go. Not much editing, just...

How do we get this site back on line?

I hear what you're saying and I share your concern SCync. However I also feel that this kind of thing happens from time to time with some sites. There is a natural ebb and flow to the traffic and while I agree it has been very quiet of late I think Photoshop Gurus is far from defunct. I know I...

    Operation Photo Rescue

"OPR" has been set up to help people recover damaged photographs from the effects of Hurricane Katrina. If you check out the Operation Photo Rescue Blog that will give you all the information you need. I found the details of how to offer help on Week 5. They ask for various levels of competence...

    Colouring or filling an arrow

Heh, how easy do you want it limey? That method is just SO easy that I doubt if there is an easier way. You have the arrow on its own layer to do with it what you wish.

    Colouring or filling an arrow

I don't really understand what you are saying limey. That sentence does not really make sense, so I will give it a "best guess". Using the custom shape tool, make sure you have "Fill Pixels" checked in the options. Then select the arrow shape you want to use. Go to the pallet and select the...

    Need Free Website Templates

I'm sure you must have done this yourself, but I can only suggest you do a search for Free Website Templates and then take it from there.

Nice work bblacj. I'm out for the day so I wanted to post this quickie up for you to show the writing on the wall heh so to speak :) I have resized the image for my own practicality but here is a link to the PSD so you can get a better idea of what I have done. Check out the desaturated version...

    brick walls

Just a quick reply as I'm passing, sorry I'm in a dash, so to speak :) The wall, as I think I mentioned in the thread namvet supplied, is a real photo, that I made a copy of desaturated it and used that as an alpha channel. I think I may have used the same desat' version to run the dis[place...

    brick walls

Hello bblacj and welcome to PSG :) There are quite a few ways to do this depending apon the effect you want. Here are a couple of examples I have made recently, do any look like the type of thing you are looking for? Click on the images for a larger version. This next one has two different...

    Where's every one man ?

Hi Evil Nemesis, I also tend to look in at least once a day while I'm here (in front of my computer) but now that the spring has sprung I'm spending a lot of time on walkabout out in the wilderness. :) Also I'm not too sure if I'm very good company at the moment so I may be doing the Forum a...
