    Fireworks to Photoshop: difficult transition

    "I can definitely create a new file, but even if I select 'Background Contents: Background Color', the background of the new file remains white.     urgent help needed!

    You've probably sorted this by now but it sounds like your space bar was stuck down as this is used to change from any tool into the Grab Hand.

    Help needed replacing sky

    Hi macnmore, Once you've dragged the new sky across go Edit>Free Transform and use the grab handles to resize the image. Hold shift to constrain the proportions while resizing. Hope this helps.

    Moving An Anchor Point

    Hi, To move an anchor point use the Direct Selection Tool, (A) It's the white arrow on the tool bar. CTRL shouldn't be needed, just click, hold and drag to the new location. Hope that helps.

    Gouranga!!

    Hi all, Been addicted to PS for some 3 years now and the best thing is I'm always learning new techniques. Although I struggle for inspiration I always find time to follow some of the great tutorials on here. Peace out :)
