    Is it me or does anyone else find after selecting out a part on a imagine then go to select and mask in 2017 PS that it never does a really good job keeping the mask where you want it to be around the edges when you return back.....     Can somebody give the reason for this feature? I have watched videos and read articles and all it appears to be is a blending mode. If I select "layer 1" in apply image on a 2 layer photo, what is supposed to happen to each layer?

    Quick Mask Feature Stopped working

    On CS4 when I click the Quick Mask button it indicates that it's on but will not paint what I'm trying to mask. I tried opening PS with shift+ctrl+alt to reset preferences but do not get the question to return to default. I'm using it on Vista. It worked fine a day ago.
