Age Simulation

Wondering if anyone else has tried age simulation using Photoshop and if so, perhaps they could post them.

This first photo shows a young girl - age 6 - who was tragically suffocated while hiding in a storage chest while playing hide-and-seek.

Her father wanted to have a simulation of how she may have looked five years later at age 11:

And then five years later again at age 16:

I cautioned him of course, there is really no way to accurately predict how a person may age but in order to be as realistic as possible, I had him supply me with photos of other family members, at ages 6, 11 and 16 who had a resemblance to his daughter.
He and the rest of the family were quite pleased with the result and have graciously given me permission to post them.

This is excellent work! I'm not surprised they're pleased!

Recently, I had to age my work colleagues to old aged pensioners and found it quite difficult to find a natural look. - everywhere I read said to find skin tone, find similar faces etc.. And it's quite nice you cautioned them first as to the 'accuracy' of the final image.

It must be awful to loose a child, and I don't think I'd want this if I was in their position but it looks like you've given them a beautiful gift that's been well received :-)
