Correct me if I'm wrong but from your intro post I deduce your just have Photoshop.

Does that mean you have no experience at all with PS?

Before starting to animate the hand there's a whole lot of preparations to make in PS, like getting rid of the drop shadow, using the pen tool to separate the hand, filling the gaps in the face, rotating the hand three times ect...
