Thank you for your response. I am disappointed. I am fairly new to this. I have the book "Top 100 Simplified Tips and Tricks for CS5" and wanted to do exercise # 31 that is called "Crop Creatively".... (I do have a Windows OS - PC). I wanted to put 2 pictures together with white space around it for a "diptych." Any ideas? I will have to play with it a bit to see what I can do....
