Hey all - I need a little help.
I'm working with a vendor who has 27 colors available for print on their products. They print custom logos, but the colors must be in that range of 27 colors. Finally, only 8 colors are allowed per-item.
1. Is there a way I can set up a custom palette with only these 27 colors? Then I'll only be able to use the right ones.
2. Is there a way to open (in Photoshop) any logo or image regardless of color, then somehow apply/convert it so that Photoshop replaces any colors with colors from my list of 27?
3. Finally - as a second part of number 2 - can I restrict it to only 8 colors max? I mean, I think I'd want the whole range of 27 available to Photoshop as it tries to match colors as best it can - but in the end, the piece can only be 8 colors.
Thanks!
