About the guy who lost all his stuff...I had a situation that I kept some of my files in an encrypted folder (win2k), but forgot to save my public/private keys. After I re-installed my system I was unable to recover this directory and that frustrated me for weeks 
and then knowing that this person in the article lost about everything...so guys, we can't repeat it.......back-up, a lot!
