Thank you for helping me out. I'm sorry for the late reply. Here's what I get:

And here's what I've done:

To process a JPG image that was taken by a Pixel 7 Pro cellphone and by using Photoshop:

NOTE: This process has worked for me since March 1, 2025. I'll provide an update when I'm sure that the procedure is reliable.

1.    Copy the JPG image from the cellphone to the desktop and open it with Photoshop. (I use Photoshop 7.)

2.    Before making any changes to the file, click File > Save as to save the file as a TIF. Now you should be able to process the TIF and save your changes.

NOTE: It sure seems that I tried saving the PS file as a TIF in the past and got the same error, but I can't remember if I saved it before or after I made changes to the file. And as I mentioned before, the problem also appears on a Windows Vista computer.

3.    When you have finished your processing, either close the file as a TIF (or as a PS file - haven't verified that yet) or click File > Save as to save the file as a JPG.

What is our favorite program/app? (Hint - it begins and ends with the letter P)
