Hi I’m new to photoshop and was using clone stamp to remove a cigarette butt from a photo it allowed me to remove one click but every click now is just adding red dots to the image and leaving the cigarette butt visible anyone know why this is happening? I have tried closing the image and starting again but it did the same thing.

For me, using CC2018, the clone stamp tool works fine on your original image.

If you're using CC2019 try this:
Turn on the Legacy Compositing option in Performance preferences.
Choose Edit > Preferences > Performance (Windows)
Select Legacy Compositing.
Quit and relaunch Photoshop.

If this isn't working try resetting the tool or all tools.
Select the clone stampt tool (it will show up above the tool bar), right click on it and select 'reset tool' or 'reset all tools'
