Convert RAW to NEF

I have RAW files that I would like converted to NEF but I am unable to find a program that will do the job with large files ... without buying it. Anything online will not handle the size.
Any ideas? Thanks.

whereas I believe changing to .dnf files just works properly. it is supported in both photoshop and lightroom and also it is Raw files!
