Hi Everyone!,

***Never done this before coz I take the lazy route... click and drag to new document , then apply action... lol.***

Thanks DV8 - that's what I have been doing for a few months.

Problem is the novelty has worn off.

What I am doing is watermarking/branding my images after they have been cropped and opened from within the RAW dialog box.

Doing things the way which I have been has  caused me a lot of repetitive hand work (yes, I am lazy!) as no two images are exactly the same size.

In my mind I can visualize an action where there is an open file on the desktop (or a bunch), and an action invoked where  two layers of editable text (font, size, color, effects already ascribed) are brought in from another file and dropped on top for adjustment.

The duplicate layer strategy works if you have both source (with logo layers) and the destination file open at the same time.  But then you still have to name where the duplicated layers are heading.  Going this route, it is less keystrokes to select the file with the logos and drag them to the destination file.

Hope this is making sense?

What is our favorite program/app? (Hint - it begins and ends with the letter P)
