CS4; problem using brushes

updated my old pc with something a bit newer and went from using an x86 os to using an x64 os (w7).

had about 100 brushes that i used on my old system. when i moved them over to the new system (i think i did that correctly), i get an error when attempting to use them.

so basically i am asking, can brushes from the x86 version of CS4 be used on the X64 version of CS4? or will i have to track them down and re-download them?

I think if you've put the brushes into the right folder there shouldn't be any problems.

Perhaps you can try and find the brushes again on the internet and re-download them, but as far as I know the brushes should work on both systems and between cs3 till cs5.

You dont really want to keep your brushes in the default folder it clutters it up and gets hard to find what you want especially if you have thousands.

Store them all in a seperate folder and load them when you need them like this follow the red markings

this is the error i get, even when i use the method Hoogle mentioned.

see attached.
