Greetings All. Has anyone had a problem saving TGA files from CS4, and then finding that the saved TGA file is longer horizonatally than the original PSD? Here are my specifics:
- I'm working in CS4 on a group of graphics to be sent to a video editor.
- He has requested 32bit TGAs with alpha channels to import into his Avid.
- One of the elements is a perfect circle.
- I've saved a TGA with alpha of the perfect circle logo.
- When I open the TGA, the image size and canvas size are still the exact same as the original PSD file, but the overall image is now longer horizontally.
- When I drag the TGA back into the PSD, it needs to be horizontally reduced by 90% to get the circle to line back up with the PSD circle (and it's still not quite perfect).
- At this point, I swear a bit and drink a little more tequila.
Has any other user ever experienced this? Is there a quirk in saving TGAs that I'm missing? Client deadline is approaching, and I'm running out of tequila!
