different 'save' dialogue boxes solved.

Hi, posted some time ago as to the different save dialogue boxes that I was getting.

have found out why. as per below.

the old save dialog shown the list of various format is a "Legacy" interface. with it checked you get the many formats, with out it checked you only get a few choices.
