Drawbacks if Photoshop CC 2018 is run on Windows 7?

Is there any drawbacks if new Photoshop CC is run on old Windows 7?
Will it slow down or down grade the editing qualities of Photoshop CC?
What is the drawback if there is any?

I'm using CC 2018 on Win 7 Pro, I7 4770K, 32 GB ram, 2GB GTX660 and I do not experience any drawbacks...until now.

Got info on the internet saying that Win 10 could be downloaded and used for free.
Asked Microsoft whether it was true and the reply was no.
Yes, it is free but only for those who have the purchased retail versions.
I have a Win 7 Pro 32b disc purchased many years back and will use it for VirtualBox as the guest.
