effect of speed light

Hi all, i need to know to finish an illustration, how i can make an effect of light that there is in this picture:

This is done using the Brush Tool and a blurring effect of some type, Gaussian or Motion blur, perhaps both.

It was done in layers. I see Orange, yellow, and white. Some layers may have had a mode change as well.

This is very easy. All done with the Brush Tool, Motion blur, and Gaussian blur!
