Specific Genuine looking engraving into an Emerald.

Hello, I'm attempting to create a design for a tattoo yet I'm absolutely horrible at drawing or photoshop.
I was wondering if someone could photoshop the attatched image to remove the ring section from the image, and to add an engraving into the Emerald with the letters "K" and "I" evenly spaced from center in the "Courier Prime Regular" font while also leaving the scratches in the surface of the emerald.

This is my attempt, hope it's OK. I removed the claws but can add them back in if required.

Here's my try at it. My first time using this technique so let me know if it works.
Also left the prongs in which I think makes the image more interesting and with more of a precious stone look.
I can always remove the prongs if you'd like.
Straightened the shot since it was a bit lopsided.
Cropped the image as well - didn't need that much white space surrounding with the ring removed.
