Greetings JustStarting, glad you could join our Forum. Hope you enjoy your stay.  [excited]

It appears that you're moving through that tute quite well all things considered. Usually, the only reason a tute is labeled "Beginner", etc is because of the knowledge needed to manuever through the menu options and perform certain functions. Other than that, anyone should be able to do my tutes, provided they think clearly and take their time at them. ;)

You current problem should be easy to resolve.

As mentioned in Step 2 on Pg 4...

The bent corner image you created on it's own layer... to get the highlight edge, just duplicate that bent corner layer and move the duplictae below the original layer. Change the colour fill to solid white, and nudge the original (gradient filled) bent corner image down a couple pixels; using the down arrow key.

And that's all there is to it.   [honesty]

Does that make sense to you now?

PS: one thing to make sure of is that no selection is active when doing this step. Press Ctrl+D before starting the step, just to make sure.

PPS: make sure you're wearing the proper safety gear if you're intent on trying the "Realistic Glass/Plastic Pill Button" tutorial!  [saywhat]

What is our favorite program/app? (Hint - it begins and ends with the letter P)
