help for effect menu bar section

Hello
Im a rookie in photoshop and need some help
im using cc 2018 (and ocf i cant explain well) and i saw a video for making 3d box and there was a menu bar section called effect (3d Extrude & Bevel options) but in my cc 2018 wasnt such thing and i tried with 3d section but wasnt what i need
So is that section plugin? and how can i search it?

Just as a double check, was the tutorial for Photoshop CS6 or CC or for Photoshop Illustrator?
Would be good to double check the tutorial to make sure the version used is not too old as well as 3D tools were considerably different in CS5.
