There is no drop shadow on your logo layer.

I need the PSD to be as it is in its NOT working state....otherwise I can't work out what might be wrong.

Just remove what you need to from the PSD file leaving the 'erroneous' bits in as-is.....warts 'n all.

In other words just remove the background layer and post the rest AS-IS.
