Hi i need help with passport photo file size

Hi everyone,
I want to renew my British passport. Their minimum size is 50kb, and the photo I got from Walgreens photo department is only 41kb. Can anyone suggest how I might make the file size larger without disqualifying the picture for any other reason?

Most likely walgreens saved as a too high of a JPEG compression. If the image meets all other criteria of quality and dimensions, just reading the picture in to most any picture reading//saving software and re-saving as a low compression (higher quality) image will increase the size. As long as it’s not larger than 10 MB you should be good.
