How Can I Make A Blood Vein In Drawn Hand Look Real ?

Hello, how are you doing? I have a question for the experts.

I had drawn a Human Hand in Photoshop. And I would like to add Blood Veins to it, and had tried, but it looks crapy. The Viens look like they are laying on top and not a part.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

WITH OUT SEEING THE PROGRESS,I would say try layer modes with the viens layer

Can you post an image of what you've done so far? It will help us find a solution for you with what you've got...

If the veins you've drwan have color shading, perhaps try creating a duplicate of the hand image, make it the top layer above the veins and play with the opacity and layer modes as iDad mentioned.

Just thinking inside the box.... lol...
