Thank you for your advice. The original image was very low quality and adding the filters has actually been the only thing I've been able to do to increase the definition (mainly by bringing out the colours). You're right that adjusting the filter settings may increase the definition a bit more, but I wonder if anything further can be done (for example a tool or trick to enhance the outlines of the objects)?
