To start with, I'm almost compleately new to photoshop, and I'm not good with photo editing software. Please keep this in mind when giving me instructions and try to tell me things in terms I understand. Most of the terms photoshop uses in the help file I have no clue about and I dont understand layers or anything except in paint.net.

Anyway, I have this texture for a 3D model and I want to make him into a chrome silver sufer dude, how do I do that, can someone recommend like a really easy plugin or brush or something. I got this trial version of eye candy 5 plugin but it does nothing but cover up my texture with photos already installed with the plugin making it pretty much worthless to me even to try.

So how do I make this dude chrome? (add the "h")

WOW...2 days and 170 views and not one person has a clue, I thought you were "photoshop gurus"...amazing. Eh well, least I learned how to make shiny PVC clothing textures in all this...guess I'll ask somewhere else about the chrome.

How do I delete my account here, I hate being signed up at a bunch of places?

Wow in order to make good chrome you probably need a plug in. But this is not beginner stuff, i still personally have issues making a good looking chrome.

Well it takes time and its gonna look messy if u rush,
Do a sliver layer blend ex overlay, soft light
depending on what ur "chroming" Then create a highlight and shadow layer and simply add white where it should shine and black where it should be then layer blend maybe mess with the opacity
good luck
