I've never used after effects (or any other movie editor besides iMovie) but I really enjoyed your tutorial. You achieved a very good effect. That looks like a powerful piece of software.

As for draining your average computer, AGREED! I bought it 5 years ago on a 2 gig ram laptop. Let's just say either I learned patience or hid my anger very nicely haha.
