How to change a specific color code?

Hi, I am new to Photoshop, and I'm currently trying to adjust an image of a map. I want to change the color code 262626 to just 000000, can this even be done?

Most likely, yes. The exact approach depends on the image format being used eg.
- indexed color PNG
- regular PNG
- JPEG
- or other.

It would be best to post the image to examine what you have to determine the best approach.
