How to change the shape of this rectangular sign to a six sided polygon?

I made this sign following a tutorial online. I'd like to make a version that is shaped like a 6 sided polygon with the points at 12 and 6 o'clock. How can I do that?

Use your Polygon Shape Tool



Set your sides to 6...

Will that convert the shape, or do I have to start over?

Since I can't see your workflow you used in your layers panel, I would imagine that you would only need to remake the base shape layer. You will have to make that shape layer over using the new 6 sided poly.

Save your layer style from the PSD/image/project above so you can just apply it to the new shape.
