HI,
I would like to change the size of icons on the toolbar. I looked on some forums but I can't find the way. I tried to go on preferences but I can't find anything releted to icons' sizes. In the attachment I show two screenshots, one belongs to photoshop CS6, the other one belongs to adobe 2025 which is correct and this make me think is not about screen resolution. I need to make bigger the icons' dimensions on CS6. Could someone tell me how to solve the issue? thank you

Hi @ciaociao

It is my understanding that CS6 cannot scale icons other than by changing the screen resolution.
For Photoshop 2020 and higher, there is an option in the settings to scale the UI (see image below). However, I have had no luck getting it to work on my Mac, despite it being supposed to work on Windows machines.
So I cannot provide more details on the new settings available on Photoshop for Windows yet, I'm pretty sure you don't have that option on CS6

There are onlo workarounds such as using a screen zoom tool.

Other forum members may have more details/options to share.

Hello. Unfortunately, there is really no way to change the icon/UI size in the Ps CS6 toolbar other than going to Prefs > Interface > UI font size > Set to large. I know on my older iMac (running CS6 Extended) this has little to no effect..................at least I can't tell a difference.

There are some questionable workarounds that may or may not work.

You might can try this. It's for Adobe Ai, but should also work for Ps CS6

Hi @thebestcpu

thanks for your answer. this solution works fine with adobe 2025, unfortunately I cannot find and check the "scale UI to font " option in adobe CS6 and I don't see any change by selecting different sizes in UI Font size box. thanks anyway, at least I can use this option on photoshop 2025. thank you very much
