Hello everyone!

I was wondering how you guys search for the stock images you use in your photo manipulations?

Today i was looking for a model sitting, easy to crop and to blend with another image.
After 10 minutes of searching google image, i found absolutely nothing.
I also tried Deviant Art, but with no success.

My keywords were "sitting chair" and every other derivative as "girl sit down" & "model on chair" & stuff.

Do you have any tips for making fast and effective searches?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Don't use Google images unless its for your own personal use and no is going to see it.. ( copyright issues ).

Deviant Art has plenty of models sitting down, just search under the stock and resources section, search for just the word MODEL, this usually gets me what I want , it can take some time filtering through the images but i have found plenty of models sitting down.

But don't forget to read the models rules before you use the image.

Okay guys, thanks a lot!

I'll try to add more coherent words & under the stock section in DA.

Also, do you know a devianter that has some quality and quantity of nice stock photo?
Thanks :)

when searching for quality model images on DA through the stock and resources section you will know when you see a good quality image. It might not be the one your looking for so check out that models gallery of stock, sometimes you will be very surprised at what you will find.

You might have to do some pre process work on some of them but the end result will benefit you

I think the largest gallery of model photography is faestock on deviantarts. Just search her name and it will come up with images. Click an image, click on her name and once you get to her site, you will go into the gallery. I think she even has categories of models sitting down. They may be subgalleries under separate sections, like gothic, fairy, etc.

Here is her link: http://faestock.deviantart.com/

Sometimes when you find an image you like, you can click on it and on the right, it will say similar images. It will give you a choice of this artist or a different one on DA.
