How to drastically reduce size of large image without sacrificing quality?

I made a poster that I am trying to have printed through Vistaprint. The issue is that they only accept uploads 12mB or less. My poster is over 150 due to it being HUGE. Is there a format or something I could choose that would make the size drastically less? I don't need layers to be remembered or anything. They accept:

Adobe Acrobat 9 Document (*.pdf) (recommended)
Adobe Illustrator CS3 Artwork (*.ai) (recommended)
Adobe Photoshop CS3 Image (*.psd) (recommended)
Bitmap Image (*.bmp)
GIF Image (*.gif)
JPEG Image (*.jpg,*.jpeg)
Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 Document (*.ppt)
Microsoft Publisher 2010 Document (*.pub)
Microsoft Word 2010 Document (*.doc)
PCX Image (*.pcx)
PICT Image (*.pic,*.pict,*.pct)
PNG Image (*.png)
PostScript Document (*.ps)
TIFF Image (*.tif,*.tiff)
Windows Enhanced Metafile (*.emf)
Windows Metafile (*.wmf)

Nevermind, I just copy-pasted it to Illustrator. When I exported, it was like 12mB. Is this okay? The quality seemed about the same.
