I assume you are asking how to adjust the Image > Auto Color command. If that is the case, here is one way with the steps.


First, here is my starting image as well as the Layers Panel showing:

You duplicate Layer with the keyboard shortcut command "Command +J" on a Mac (or "Control+J on a PC).  You get the following result showing two Layers (I changed the Layer label to be more descriptive in the second Layer)

Now, the second Layer is highlighted (which means selected) so now use the Image > Auto Color command, and you will get the following result (I change the label to show it was adjusted):

To adjust the amount of the Image > Auto Color, all one needs to do is change the opacity of the second (top) Layer.  In the next image I changed it to 50%, as shown in the Layer panel, which dials back the impact of the adjustment:
