How to get a smooth font instead of a messed up font?

Somehow, the font looks a bit messed up... I simply cannot remember how to make the font look smooth... How do I fix this?

How large is the original file/image? This image is only 556px x 357px (I realize this could be a screenshot). If you are working on a small canvas, such as anything under 1000px x 1000px, you will have aliasing issues. Work large! At least on documents that are 3000px! You can always scale down.

No, there was a setting that I had to untick/change, maybe in typography, but I don't know which setting it was that did the trick....
