Hello everyone,

I'm looking to replicate this effect on colors.

This is the original photo and the edited one.

What adjustments do you suggest to replicate the effect ?

Thank you in advance,

I sampled three colors (pink sign, green grass, blue jersey) from the same spots on both images. Below are the color details of those samples. Looking at the HSB values for each color—Hue, Saturation, Brightness—it seems that the biggest difference is in the Saturation component. Whoever made the adjustment in the edited version has reduced the overall saturation of the image.

There are also some minor differences in the Hue and Brightness components, but the easiest way to (mostly) replicate the effect is to place a Vibrance adjustment layer above the image and then reduce the Saturation.

So doesn't seem to be easy to find the formula for this kinda effect
These types of questions are always extremely difficult to answer and a bit unfair to you and other members. The reason is because there are just too many variables that could have been used. We can speculate and guess, but only the original "editor" of the image can tell you how it was actually done. It's been my experience here on the forum with the same question from others, that no matter what we might suggest, the OP is never content because it's not an exact match.

The best thing for you to do is to place the images side by side and start experimenting until you get the image to look like the way you like!!! This is exactly what I or the other members would have to do ourselves!

Start with all of the filters and adjustment layers, blending options, camera raw. It can be any one of these or a combination of many.
