I dissagree, HTML is a programing language, and for every one to follow the same rules there has to be a set standard and this is what W3C are doing, there is no rule that states anyone person owns the right to a programing language, and again no rule saying that you have to follow the standards (it is better if you do so every one can view you webpage)

What google has been doing is making there own code, that may not become the W3C standard, this means that google may have to re-write some of there webpage codes, as we know google will not do this and I do feel they will make there code try and because html 6 as they don't want to re-wright the code in the gages and so on
