3D I want to......

hey all,

I want to try my hand at 3D pics and have downloaded a few different renderers.

My question is: How do I paste a copy of a picture I made in PS 7 to a 3D sphere in Blender?

I made a Yong (Yin & Yang) and want to apply it to a 3D sphere!!

Can someone give me a point in the right direction!?

I'm not familiar with Blender at all, but generally this type of thing is down by assigning a texture/material to the object. And while in the texture/material editor, you can choose a specific image to apply to the texture/material.

So check to see if Blender has this ability. I'm sure it should, but can't tell you where exactly to find it within the program.
