My current Macbook (Laptop)  is slowly loosing life, slowing down and over heating, it can't keep up with the speed I work at on my laptop. So it's time to get a new one, but i'm thinking a desktop would cope with what I do a little better.

My idea is to totally wipe out my current laptop and using use it for surfing the web only, and use my new computer for designing, and web development.

I have 2 iMac's in mind:

[*=left]NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 1GB video memory

27-inch: 3.2GHz

Specifications

Web Design

Obviously the 27" has better specs, but I am thinking the screen size may be too big when working with websites. would it be ideal to be using a similar size screen to your audience, or would would a bigger one be more beneficial?

Graphic Design

As for graphic designing, I'd imagine the bigger the screen the better, especially when working with posters and banners? The 27" iMac, I think also comes with bigger graphics card which would be an advantage.

Please share your advice, i'd be interested to hear some views from people with the same hobbies and interests. If the iMac is not ideal, then share your thoughts .

What is our favorite program/app? (Hint - it begins and ends with the letter P)
