Image distort controls

Sorry, I'm not sure what to call the control I'm looking for. When I was using PSE and I would move one image to another image it had the little boxes on each corner and in the middle of the horz. and vert. edges that allowed me to stretch or alter the image (just like you get using the Edit>Transform tool in PS.

To the point. Now when I do the same thing I have to take the time to engage the Edit>TRansform tool to accomplish the same thing. Is there a way to set this tool to the "on" position like it was in PSE? Thanks
 
Hi Lee, I think you mean the 'Bounding Box'? Selected item shows a frame?

If so, select the Move tool and tick the 'Show Bounding Box' in the top left of the Options menu.

If not, ;) , Command+T (Control+T for PC) is the transform keystroke.
