Welcome to PhotoShop Gurus

that's pretty simple it works the same as any object in PS
Just create your path, then got to your "path selections tool" on your tool bar

[ATTACH]7641[/ATTACH]

select your entire path press Crtl+C to copy the path, then go to your new document and press Crtl+V to paste it, that will be it.
