Hi there,
Nice to meet you! This is my first post on these forums.
I used to do graphic arts a million years ago but haven't kept up, and I've been wanting to do some art projects lately.
I had a specific idea in mind that involves laser cutting wood layers, I found someone who does similar work (see image) but am wondering what the easiest / best way is to take a regular photo or image and turn it into one that contains only a few solid colors (or shades of grey) that I can split off to form 3-6 layers.
Is there a filter that can get me most of the way there and then I can just paint in some adjustments?
Thanks for any help!
