Lost settings in PS CS4

I re-installed CS4 on to my new PC today, and everything works ok, except I presume, a few settings. I am now on a 64bit system but was on a 32bit Windows before, whether that makes any difference.

Zooming in & out. I used to do this with the Mouse wheel alone, but now I have to press Alt to make that work. There are a couple of other things but this is the most annoying.

What did I bork

edit > preferences > general [] check box zoom using mouse wheel

*facepalm* Thx Hoogle, no idea how I missed that.

You can't actually save the preferences, but you can make a copy of the file http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/preference-file-functions-names-locations.html
