"Maintain aspect ratio" question

Every time I free transform a part of a Photoshop file I have to click on the little chain link icon in the context menu, the one that says "Maintain aspect ratio". I almost NEVER free transform without maintaining aspect ratio. Is there somewhere I can set this to be "ON" by default?

I know I can maintain the aspect ration by holding Shift as I drag, but what I want is to NOT have to do that because of a disability in my left hand.

Is there anybody here that has some experience editing the registry so that this option can be ON by default?

Very helpful

Ok, I'll do better;

Frank, no matter how hard you try, no matter how hard you scream or stand on your head or point the finger at Adobe or destroy your monitor out of anger, it is not in any way possible, no matter how hard you wish.

Is that a better answer?

Actually, it isn't much better than "nope", because it still doesn't tell me whether you have any experience of hacking the Windows XP registry or the Photoshop Prefs or ToolPresets files. Therefore, ignoring what I consider to be wholly undeserved sarcasm, is this merely your opinion or does this come from a level of hacking that allows you to say this with absolute certainty?

I am neither screaming, standing on my head, pointing a disabled finger at Adobe or on the point of destroying any of my monitors out of anger or any other unstable emotion. I am simply looking for an authoritative answer to what I assumed was not a particularly ridiculous question.

If there is a slight chance this can be achieved, I want to hear about it since it can only ease an increasing discomfort during my working hours.
