How to keep fonts and colors when copying characters from word to photoshop?

Hello everyone, I copy characters from word to photoshop, photoshop automatically changes the font and color of the characters. How can I keep the same format as in the word file?

Of course it does. It changes any copied and pasted text to whatever current Type Tool settings you are using in Ps.

Font types, colors, size, spacing, etc. should be assigned in Ps and not in word. Just double click the added type layers and adjust the font and color.

How can I keep the same format as in the word file?

Save your text form word as a PDF, the open in Ps using FILE > PLACE > it should be an editable smart object layer.

It's still easier to just create the text in Ps.
