Specific Move person from Pic 1 to background in Pic 2

Hi guys,

I've tried moving the body in the 1st picture to the background in the 2nd picture, but the results look a bit unnatural. (especially the light and the edges..)
Wondering if anyone can get it right and if I can get some advice for the future? I'm obviously still a noob at this..

Here's my try...I eliminate the piece of fabric flying out behind since it looked like it was coming out of his backside!

Going a bit further and after placement, I cropped to center subject, some distractions removed, BG blur and selective sharpening.
