It's possible, but I wouldn't recommend doing it in Photoshop, as it would take a very long time to create a vector image with the degree of accuracy you need to do these, which for an icon, doesn't seem worth the effort to me.

There are free vector editors like the one linked below, if you are wanting to do icons and logo's without having to buy Illustrator. It will also open up the .AI file I gave you before.

It is called INKSCAPE! Hover over the download tab and choose your operating system.

Photoshop will also open the .ai file, but you won't be able to edit it.
