Hi there I am totally new to this site & would really appreciate any help I can get. How do you know which Photoshop to buy? I have a business & im wanting to make my own logos & watermarks, so how do I know which would be the best option? there are so many different ones?

This is available on subscription basis. Download the trial version to get a feel for it.

I'm uncertain whether adobe still offers the old Custom Suite 6 version for sale in the US. It would be best to contact them. Or to find authorized dealers of Adobe products.

There are a lot of new functions and features in CC. Although you can also get by with CS6 for your business venture.
 
Given the needs you have listed, you could get by with Illustrator CC.

I suggest the CC membership which will cover all bases.
