Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post....!!

I'm a long term user of Photoshop and have just now encountered a problem that I hope any of you could help me out with..... The problem is somewhere when I import a PDF in to Photoshop, along the line the pdf loses its scale!!!

This is the process...

- I have a PDF file with a architectural drawing to scale.
- I "open" the drawing with Photoshop (setting the resolution to 300dpi)
- I place the file on a "New file" set to A3 size with 300dpi
- The drawing is now out of scale....!!!!! Why..?? (checking by printing it out at 100%) I have also (just to be sure) printed the pdf and confirming the scale, scanned in this print as a jpg (300dpi) and brought it in to Photoshop and it is correct, confirming the fault of the imported pdf.

I have done this several times before and it has worked flawless....is there a setting that may have changed somewhere to cause this problem??

PS CS3
XP Pro, SP2

Any help would be most appreciated,
Fred.
