well - another mercator, very easy, fast and just not that perfect   .

It?s some Filter-action..

1. filter -> render black and white clouds.

2. filter -> pixelate -> mosaic : 15-25

Filter->Blur->Radial blur: Amount 20, zoom, best (if ur comp can handle best, if not use draft)

3. filter -> brush strokes -> Accented Edges, width 2, brightness 35, smoothness 4.

4. stylize -> find edges

5. invert (ctrl and I)

6. adjust hue/sat (ctrl and u) to change the colours.

Well I have PS in german so I don?t really know if that?s all right. Anyway, now you should have some nice and fuzzy gridlines..

 Then filter -> "Distort/Spherize...".  and try some steps of the Mercator Tutorial..
