Patch tool Problem

Hi All

Dont know if anyone else has had this problem with the patch tool. Occasionally when it use and circle something to make the original selection the circle wont link up and the attempted selection dissappears and I have to do it again multiple times and slowly to finally create th selection or change to another program and swap back to PS.

I have searched on the web for any help but cant see any so thought I would post to you guys to see if anyones knows anything.

Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried resetting your preferences?

Just reset them but made a rookie error and forgot to save my shortcuts haha... Will update if resolves problem.
