it's been piddling me off, it only ever happens with the brush tool the pencil works fine. but the brush just doesn't simulate pressure, i'm using standard brushes.

I've also got the video card error were the brushes don't work correctly over a certain size which is annoying, they just flash and scramble, when i disable the video driver, the brushes work fine. only problem is i need the video driver to use other programs. is there any way of fixing this with the driver still active. it's the latest version of ubuntu's amd Catylist drivers.

anyone know?

always found pen tool simulate pressure has not been as strong as the pencil unless you use your tablet.

if you dont use the 3d element of photoshope just disable open Gl and that should fix your graphics issue.

ah thanks for the video driver help. as for the pen tool i see what you mean about the pencil and brush. but the brush pressure simulation is exactly the same as no pressure sim. could be a preferences reset needed the program is overloaded with brush sets.

XD slow loading has never been an issue on this PC i've got over 70 brush sets and about 200 new fonts for the system still practically there as soon as i click it :P

but i see your point. i don't have them all loaded onto the userspace, just there on the list if i need to add them.

Went on the preferences on the desktop before, OpenGL was disabled anyway? do i enable it?

1. select any brush, such as the basic round hard brush.
2. go into the brush pallet, and make sure "transfer" has a checkmark beside it. Then, click on this same word "transfer" so it highlights in gray.
3. In the upper right, beneath "Opacity Jitter", it says Control: (and then whatever it is currently set to.) Make sure it says "Control: Pen Pressure"
4. Make sure "Minimum" underneath it is set to 0%

pressure sensitivity should now be working

OpenGL should have nothing to do with it

Control via pressure will only work with a graphics pen and tablet Zeealex does not have that so it will not Work.

The Disabling Open Gl has nothing to do with that particular issue but as does control the animation of brush sizing and marching ants zoom etc which is causing an issue on Zeealex machines so disabling that will help her.

yarr i do have a pen tablet i just choose not to use it. mum uses it more than me.

but what hoogle said, automated stuff going poof!
